We should not, this is why you should use monero as a currency as itself and not compare it to the dollar value. I normally buy things using the amount of xmr not the dollar value. That is the point of xmr

I think in the portals there are offers - like offer 10 Monero for 1250 €. If someone takes the offer the next one is maybe 10 Moner for 1300 € and so on ... If the offers are to high they are ignored which forces the seller to lower the price.
