I wonder, why this migration and what is the benefit

of this migration for the ECOMI community? What went wrong with the Gochain network to want to migrate to a network whose transaction fees are exaggeratedly expensive?

Have a look at this message from Rhys https://t.me/ecomi/889806 There are two automatic swap options: Exchange and VEVE app. The exchange option is sending your OMI to an exchange like bitforex, gate.io and they will handle the swap for you and there are no fees attached. The other option is to send it to VEVE app. This swaps your OMI to The new ETH OMI but it L2 and can only be used within veve app. If you want to send it to an exchange or store it in your wallet, you will have to bridge it to L1. For this swap there are no fees attached. If you don't choose any of these options listed above, you will have to do a manual swap and fees are involved Hope this helps. 🙏
