Why is it so difficult to concentrate in a hot

climate?
It's 37°C in Krakow right now, and even though I'm not directly exposed to the burning sun I still find it difficult to do any cognitive work

I thought you'd never ask. as the Earth goes around its orbit and summer sets in on either of the hemispheres, the productivity there, on average, falls. there's also the afternoon phenomenon which essentially says productivity is inversely proportional to the position of the sun in the sky
