Hey :) I'm new to C++ and usually work with Rust.

How can I get better help from VSCode while editing C++?

Currently, I'm using the c++ extension, cmake extension, and clang-format, which are really helpful. Here's what's working for me so far:
- Formatting
- Go to definition
- Basic type-based autocomplete

What I'm looking for is:
- Smart IntelliSense, similar to what I have in Rust, so it shows me errors more frequently.
Any tips on how to feel more comfortable using C++ in VSCode would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

I have to admit that VSCode is pretty bad for C++ in terms of intellisense if you are not in the Microsoft ecosystem. Smart intellisense is fairly hard to implement because unlike rust, c++ supports implicit conversions
