to Wx staking. but the new weights add up to 100%. will 5% still be going to WX stakers?

Initially, when WX staking was announced, no one said that 5% would be distributed to stakers. It was an additional bonus that the team decided to reward WX stakers. This bonus was not announced as permanent, so the decision is quite reasonable that now there will be a need for additional emission for the pools that will participate in the voting for the weight of the pools
