I realize it's a shitty situation, but I'm sometimes struck
by people's ignorance about where they invest their money. "turned my real Bitcoins into..." How the fuck did real bitcoin get on a blockchain that doesn't actually have it?

it's a rhetorical question, the person just doesn't realize or doesn't know that he didn't have real bitcoin, the real bitcoin was on the gateway, and he had a wrapped token, and oh fuck, it changed its name and the person thinks he got fucked over by exchanging his tokens without his participation and wow, even without his private key to sign the transaction, what a mess, but never mind, just saying
