It makes me wonder of crypto.com is running into some liquidity crisis.. these changes are harsh and quick,

I also think they must be bordering insolvency

Users make choices based on EVERYTHING. Bad feedback, good feedback, accessibility, etc. Just because it has good security doesn't mean squat if it's a pain to use

No matter the service, I have never waited any time for a visa transfer, whether it be Coinbase, CDC, Voyager, PayPal, etc. That's a non issue.

u never waited days/weeks for a charge back? well lucky you! point being card services experience delays/ network issues all the time. Crypto is no different... you will find the same across the board. Brand awareness and trust in security (this is crypto remember!) is everything.

Well I think it's pretty clear CDC cannot afford to maintain their (previously) generous Earn and Visa programs. If you have CRO available to unstake, you may want to consider withdrawing and sending to defi

Well I'm not sure it's a liquidity problem but more of a solvency problem. Kris said himself that these changes were necessary to make them sustainable. Implicit in that is that, without cutting these programs, they'd be in trouble.

Indeed. Although I am currently kicking CDC for advertisement, regulatory requirements are likely the reason for this change. Celsius Wallet app shafted small account holders just weeks before CDC.

That's me also I live in the Caribbean and the card is not even in my area yet I am not even staking with crypto.com but with okx 12% rates so it doesn't really bother me

I would hope that DeFi insulates CDC from regulatory constraints. At this point, I am figuring the exodus from the app is slowing transactions. Now, if only CDC could have card rewards issued from DeFi, that would be great.

Nope. I get emails every day from all my card expenses etc but this one I didn’t receive. And I think this is the most important email of the year so I am not happy I got to hear this news by checking myself on what’s going on with the low price
