It's possible. But it will reset your 180 day stake terms.
Only after the lock period is over. The moment you unstake, you lose benefits. But if you stake again the minimum needed for the tier you want, you regain them

Once you unstake. Your benefits will return similar to what the midnight blue has. Once you restake, benefits will return to what tier you chose for.
