I"M getting nowhere with support. I've been asking a

zillion different ways via the support email, and they don't seem to understand my question, or don't want to answer it. so, has anyone had to prove source of funds? Specifically my funds are coming from crypto trades, which is not addressed in the help section, I'm wondering if anyone has had to prove their SOF from crypto trades, on CEX and DEX. and what sort of docs you used to do so? be aware I've not deposited yet, I just want to get a clear answer and be prepaired if I do get asked+

I think most people don’t know

There’s no simple answer to that. If your assets derive from trades there’s documentary for that, right? Nothing you have to fear for if you operate within legal boundaries. 🤷‍♂️

I don't have anything to fear at all. In fact I'm wanting to be prepaired to be compliant if asked. no worries on that at all. It's just that the docs are unclear as to what sort of info would be needed and used to prove crypto trades. specifically DEFI, which since most wallets are anonymous. could be tricky to prove. I just want some clarification as to the process and documents neededl, so that my account is not frozen for days at a time (which I read a lot about) whilst they figure it out. I just want to be prepaired. really suprised there is no clear direction they can give me++

Any „direction“ towards circumgoing law would be considered „tipping“ and is illegal in most jurisdictions.

who said anything about circumventing the law? It's 100% legal to trade crypto. I was asking what is the best way to prove my legit crypto trades. what sort of documentation would be best for these circumstances....

And I said if there’s nothing illegal in what you did you surely have all supporting documents (CEX) or wallet addresses (DEX) and there’s no need to be worried at all. 😉

as I said, not worried. 100% not worried. but I do like to be prepaired. I like to have all my ducks in a row before committing to something such as this. specifically the majority of my funds come from DEX and CEX. I was mearly looking for clarification as to what sort of documents would be needed and acceptable for such things. I was hoping someone here had experienced it, and could share what their experience was. I like to be prepaired.

yeah, I did that. they said ask crypto.com about their policy and documents required to prove such things. honestly, I keep reading dozens of posts on various sites about peoples accounts getting frozen for weeks, or more. whilst crypto.com sorts things out. I had a friend who had his account frozen for 4 weeks, he provided all requested docs, including statements from CPA and lawyer. it took 4 weeks to sort out. 4 weeks of his account being frozen for no reason, other than being flagged for "suspicious" wihtout calrification as to what that was. when all was said and done, they reopend it. but his funds were inconviently frozen for 4 weeks. thats bad business in my opinion.

Crypto.com maintains compliance at the core of its business, we comply with all applicable laws and regulations in our areas of operation — We can’t comment on situations with frozen funds, for legal reasons. CDC has been my main banking account for ~3 years now, and I’ve had no such issues. If you are concerned with larger fund movements, you may contact us via contact@crypto.com or in-app chat, and request an SoF document previous to depositing a large amount of funds, which will need to be cleared for compliance requirements

I keep trying to do this. I've asked support via the email address. and they keep telling me to contact a CPA about my question. which is wierd. I really am getting the impression they don't understand the question. I've literally asked if I could get clarification on SOF, and if I could go through the process before I deposit.
