I received like 3 emails from crypto.com about my taxes

Wait till @Skarsom or @NetoCDC come back to you. Not American so I never saw the 1099 emails myself and I’d rather not advise on it while having never seen it myself.

Does crypto.com send ur details to the IRS regardless of filing or not ?

Generally speaking (everywhere we operate) if there is a regulatory requirement to do so it’s done, otherwise it is not volunteered, unless it’s requested by authorities and there is a legal basis for the request (eg subpoena). Specifically speaking to the US/IRS, I will leave it to my US colleagues to respond to

So unless the irs come to crypto.com and asks to view (this persons) details crypto.com won’t give it unless asked ?
