support is quite terrible, but it seems that transactions sent from crypto.com are not reaching my bank at all. It seems it is being blocked somewhere inbetween.
What country?
Usa. I am having trouble purchasing crypto after many successful months without issue. All of a sudden no transaction goes through and cryto.com claims my bank is denying them, but my bank says they aren't getting any charge request at all.
That’s a complex matter. Have you contact led Customer Support?
I have but they are largely useless and refuse to escalate my issue. They just look at the screen which says it failed send are adamant that it is my bank.
At this point, I am on the verge of withdrawing all funds and not recommending crypto.com to anyone.
I’ve had this problem. Almost impossible to solve as you can’t see where in the chain is being held up
Have you tried a different bank?
I could but I shouldn't have to. I am literally throwing money at them and they don't want take it, and refuse to escalate the issue. It is terrible customer service.
I know you say you shouldn’t have to, but many banks are anti-crypto. So we have to find new ways of making things work
Except this isn't my bank. I am using moonpay without issue. The issue seems to be that crypto.com sends charges to an intermediary and that intermediary is blocking it. It isn't my responsibility to debug their relationships and their are stubbornly assuming it is my bank rather than their intermediary.
Is there anyone here with a connection to crypto.com higher up tech support?
Been there too. But what i know is that out of a countries several banks maybe only about 2 are anti crypto
Can you prove it is an intermediary? Also CDC can’t make decisions on behalf of the intermediary. Seems a bit unfair to blame them for that
That’s right. You have to shop around until you find something that works. Good problem solving skills are needed
I am asking a question if crypto.com uses an intermediary when sending charges. If my bank does not receive a charge request, then they can't be denying it. This suggests that there is something else wrong, but their base level tech support is certainly going to be incapable of debugging that.
I can’t answer that question for you. I don’t know the answer sorry. @Skarsom may know
Agreed. But i think it is time for CDCto embrace other payment methods which accept transfer to crypto platforms. That would fasten transaction in an amazing way. Maybe you could relay that yi the developers please
They are aware and working on things in different regions
Looking forward to it... A digital age where you don't have to wait for 3 to 4 business days to get rolling. It would be fun , don't you agree😊
If you take legacy finance out, you can already send money internationally in seconds via crypto
😂i told you its Netflix and Chill for this valentine season 😂 happily single ever after... Jst wondering what is the time at your place 😂
Well you were here when I went to bed and now you are here when I wake up lol
It is very likely that there is an intermediate bank (at least for some countries) and the reason I think so is because of the unusually long time it takes to do fiat deposits.. my very first fiat deposit was not from my bank account so I experienced a refund, when I have contacted the support to ask how long will it take, they answered me: "It may take 7 business days before the funds are rejected and 7 more before they are returned to the sender's account" There is no way this processes takes 14 business days (more than 2 weeks) if it would be a direct rejected and refund transaction But what would it change for you if you'd have official confirm that Crypto.com has an intermediate? Cause it would literally change nothing, you wouldn't be able to solve the issue even after you get an answer
🤝😊thanks for the tip bro. Am happy with CDC so far.. lets hope our cards get processed soonest
I hope this too. Other than card delivery times, the service AC/DC provide is absolutely awesome, and no bank here can compare
I concur 🤝you can say it twice ☺️ am gonna be here till am a grandpa lol
AC/DC service rocks man 😂
They do indeed
Well the hope would be that they acknowledge it is not something I can control, and thus, the onus would be on them to sort out why it is not going through. Presently they are telling me that I need to talk to my bank. Which is brain dead dumb since my bank isn't receive a charge transaction, at all.
Even if that would be the case, I still don't think anything would change at all.. they would probably tell you that crypto.com can't do anything about the intermediate bank
