How do i know if the user is inside the

group sending normal messages as reply or just commenting without joining the group?

Let's say 2 users reply to a reply to a reply to a channel message posted on the group. one inside the group, the other as a comment to a channels message.
How do i differentiate between them to know who is inside the linked group without using getChatMember?

Right! Not really asking or seeking an answer to be honest. As far as a looked on the docs there is no way without using getchatmember to know if the message was or not a comment to the channel. Someone replied in other group that it was possible but i don't see how, therefore i am asking here in case i am really missing something or the other guy just understood me wrong :)

to be honest with you, I didn't work with comments myself that much, because most bots I made were either games or self-contained bots not designed to work on groups, so I might be wrong, but when I fiddled with it I don't remember seeing any difference between messages from members and commentators. I agree with you that it would be nice to have something that differentiates, because having comments increased the amount of spam we get on groups, so moderation bots would certainly benefit from it
