I was going to suggest that when someone joins the

group or says the word "I want to create a bot" or "how can I create a bot?". A bot would automatically reply to you with the message "Please read the message pinned at the top or click the link below", so that you would have to avoid repeating the same thing all the time. But @dotvhs refuses to use bots here. 😅

this group grows way too fast for something like that, auto replies are fine for smaller groups that don't get half a thousand members every month

Those automatic responses could be removed after a certain time.

But ..hey..bots can reply in private chat...like in botlist chat. In a similar fashion. It could mute new users until they at least confirm they read the group description. That's isn't a bad thing... don't you think?. spam it's happening anyway.

you just don't like me and want to replace me with a bot 😔 jokes aside, while I agree that having this "issue" solved would be awesome but at the same time I can't escape the thoughts that it would be completely unfriendly, cold, and possibly off-putting for every potential newcomer, and on top of that muted people not understanding what's happening would start PMing admins and/or other members instead of trying to figure out what's going on.

I think you guys are awesome and are making a great job . really...much better than telegram support. But...Bot development it's about programming and bot API ...really there's nothing friendly about that if you can't speak English or read the docs. Or you have no idea of what programming is. Sometimes I wish more filtering here. This is a development group . Rules are enforced by admins anyway. Let's make it 24/7

well yeah, our bot already removes non-English languages, I know but from time to time there's a complete novice that will actually try to learn and we can point them into the right direction. But again, the issue of getting muted would only cause people to start PMing everyone ;/

The simple solution, is I warned that they will be banned and blocked if they send PM's> :) Ok no xD
