Regarding HTTP API docs, one thing I've found helped me
with some HTTP APIs was a thing called "Swagger" (https://swagger.io/) I think it's been renamed OpenAPI or somesuch now tho?

Ya, true. Only thing I can think of for "beginners" is start 'em out on one-at-a-time bite-sized simple examples of each safe feature of the API first to get 'em comfortable with how things work. I think a lot of the various Telegram bot libraries documentations have such examples in their tutorials? I know some of my favorite Python ones do…
