to host a bot?
its pretty slow on Singapore even though TG has server in Singapore
Any experience?!
@dotvhs
The question i replied to Any info about latency and speed?!
i have no clue, sorry
Wich type of bots?
The type group is about, official
Your bot for what?
Its an integration platform, doesn't matter Its just when i send text to bot it takes like 2 seconds to be printed on terminal and 2-3 to echo back (an echo function just to test network speed)

Really? I've never cared about the area of the server they're really fast no matter where. Specially AWS
He says it takes two seconds for a bot to send a message and that's really slow
This is the exact **** made me wondering
Well obviously it's not an AWS hosting. It's impossible that it take 2 seconds
Nice 10q Though i have to run a mtproto for further tests ig
Bro check your code or any problem with the api. It's impossible for the servers to be slow
Im wondering maybe choosing Singapore was a mistake Gonna test Bahrain and US and Germany
Do whatever you think is right. But I'm sure the problem isn't with that
Its super basic func Just an echo handler (prints raw TG Json in terminal and send it back to user) Besides aws region gonna test sending a static msg to usr (static usr id and text) to check json parsing speed on Golang
PHP language? Do your using any library?
If u meant me, no! Never had this issue with php Its on Golang
I have a 1gb vps which handles more than 1000 requests per minute. And I think I can run more functions in it
Maybe can ask in go language support group?
Yes u better check the codes
Could it be bcs of im using cloudflare flexible ssl to not take the effort of implementing https on server?
The telegram api uses http not https
Ur webhook needs to be https
I've never used webhooks, never needed
Its easier to handle in my opinion And less server load bcs of timers plus the easier async
async = sleep(); in php as i know
No its in Golang Php its not async really under the hood but Golang built for scaling as google says and it supposed to handle async using wait groups (a lil similar to what u have in CUDA Nvidia) Tho, still when u have a script file which supposed to be called by TG when ever a new update comes, u can leave the async and thread handling to web server or even ur OS It can create multiple file handles on different threads bcs running a script is simply a IO.read operation on the script file (not on the ram variables)
Bro guess what!!! it was the singapore Read this for more
