At first glance, it does look like owning CVX offers greater ARY (vlCVX or cvxCRV) I am looking into scaling my position in the Curve ecosystem in anticipation of crvUSD rocking the market and bringing greater yield to veCRV holders. What are the benefits of owning CRV directly instead of vlCVX or cvxCRV?

Well you have many options on what you can do with CRV, and how you can earn with it. btw, cvxCRV is a wrapper or derivative of veCRV. It's liquid meaning you you can get many of the benefits of have veCRV, but can also swap back to CRV when you wish. Of course all wrappers come with additional risk. Mainly being that they may not always remain 1:1 with CRV. There are many wrappers as well btw, cvxCRV, sdCRV, yCRV, and concentrator has two versions of the first two. Holding just CRV, you have some supply and borrow options available to you.
