I'm trying to commit algos - it's just spinning on the website after loading the algo wallet up (I didn't have to click anything in algo wallet) am I doing something wrong or ...

How's it wrong? How can they take the algos when they are in the wallet or ledger? I could just move them elsewhere....

It's an 8% tax on what you would have earned in the governance period? They don't take 8% of your commited algo?
