did somethign ever happen to the original token?

why are we still trying to get stable coin working? is it really required for the ecosystem to function - we have dfi we have eth we have btc..do we need a stablecoin?

I recall the days that dfi would move with bitcoin - I think the dusd part of Defichain has been a failure ? Thoughts
