I have a problem statement which needs to be addressed

very urgently, I am tackling it since quite a long time, but could not progress in any direction, can anyone please help me for the same?
The task is to identify if the document inside the image is coloured or not.
This means that given a photo (taken from the camera of the phone of any document), I need to tell if the document is coloured or black and white.

I don't know for certain, but I have an idea..........Suppose you have an image(richard_feynman.jpg).....then execute the following code in a Jupyter Notebook: import cv2 import matplotlib.pyplot as plt img = cv2.imread("richard_feynman.jpg", 0) plt.imshow(img, cmap='gray') ............. If the displayed image matches your expectations, it indicates that the image is grayscale (black and white). If the displayed image does not match your expectations, it indicates a colored image.
