can provide amazing exposure. I don't understand why you guys are married to a name. The whole branding doesn't need to change. A new name that begins with a P will do it. Now if the technology itself became vulnerable, will the devs do nothing about it because they are married to it?
Marketing is to provide what your end users want/need, not what 'You' want. Think about what the word pirate is associated with in real life and realize objectively that it isn't all that positive.
You have to adapt to the market or the market will kill you. Look at BlackBerry! They did fantastic at 1st but then they didn't adapt and innovate and the rest is history. Don't be married to a name or anything in this market.
You don't understand how big institutions work if you think the name is the problem. They don't want people to have privacy and to deal with whatever government interference may come down on then because of allowing people a way to transact privately.
I don't want to see ARRR on the big exchanges. I don't see why there is any concern as to it having any "utility" other than stealth. Privacy is the ONLY thing that matters, and that will soon be all that anyone cares about. As long as ARRR can help people to live outside the looming social credit system and control grid, it's going to be valuable. Exponentially moreso as the boot descends. ARRR "doesn't play well with others"? Well, the "others" will either become part of the hydra, they will defect, and/or be crushed. I wish the devs at ARRR would stick to the original intent and stop trying to make the coin into something it's not.
How are the dev's not sticking to the intent? Have you not heard Capt'n Draeth speak lately? It is ALL about financial freedom through a private fungible sound means of exchange.
All the marketing, time, effort and energy used to get ARRR on big exchanges, or to push for adoption where it's not happening organically. Wrapping ARRR to push it on the Ethereum network is disturbing to me because of who and what Ethereum is planning for the future. Let ARRR stay on its own blockchain or you're just asking for trouble in the long run. I realize that's not a popular opinion but in the future it will become clear why I would say such a thing. Certain blockchains and smart contracts are going to be a part of the enslavement of mankind, and Ethereum is one of them. Keep ARRR pure, don't put blood on my hands out of some desire to make it bigger and better. Just make it quantum resistant and stop trying to fix what ain't broken.
What is the point without adoption? No one is forced to use wARRR - it's not on the Ethereum network by the way , it's main object is to allow token holders to escape to the privacy of Pirate Chain. ARRR is a finished chain, wARRR doesn't change that in any way.
A video from Crypto Rich, interview with Draeth. Skip ahead to 5:20 https://youtu.be/nY3BXP4_Fg0 What am I missing?
Yea I agree on security being the main feature & that it will eventually pay out bc of that. They're only just starting the heavy control measures in the us
It was decided to put it on Binance (BSC) not Etherium. Pretty common knowledge.
It's the effort and intention that I've been talking about this whole time. It's the mindset. And Binance is a part of the problem, complicit in the same crimes as Ethereum. I'm not in charge of ARRR but if I could wave a magic wand I would keep Pirate Chain out of all contact with such entities. If the devs keep trying to rub elbows with creeps I will have to consider dumping ARRR on principles. I didn't get involved to make profits and I wouldn't care if the price of ARRR never went up.
No one it trying to rub elbows with anyone, you're dreaming up scenario's that don't exist. The mindset is to have ARRR adopted by as many as possible and used as fair, sound, private money. End of. If you care as much as you say you do, you would have been aware there was no Ethereum network connection. Climb down, your horse needs a rest.
