Got several 5555 day stakes dating from October 2020, why?
Wow nice, someone told me that you lose 100% of your money if you try to cash out early but obviously that is not true.
It is true. A long stake ended early will lose you all your money easily.
not 100% but you will lose money. Someone has a flow chart about this.
if you 5555 day stake you better let that go at least 99% or you're gonna lose a shit ton of cash. Basically a truth engine and an IQ test.
No 100% no, but even say a 10 year stake ended after a year and over 90% will be gone I would imagine. The shorter the stake the less the penalty obviously.
If you’ve gone 15 years, at 7.5 years you can pull out your initial but loose all interest I believe is roughly how it works. Someone correct me if that’s wrong but I think I heard Richard say that on a stream a while back
Yes it is true if you end a long stake very early you will lose it all. But it’s very simple just don’t stake what you can’t commit to. If your confident in the product stake long. I’m staked about 40% out past 10 years.
Yes. At 50% you get your principal back. then a sliding scale either way up or down from there.
See here for penalty calculations... http://hex.wiki/penalties
Yeh sweet makes perfect sense. I’v got heaps of 5, 10 and 15 year stakes staggered-, I’m addicted to staking atm lol I figured if I’ve got them ending at all random times that will stop me being stupid and ending my long stakes early
Exactly. If you EES a stake that's earning you daily interest there's something wrong with you lol Also a lot of people don't get that the interest increases as time goes by, especially once you get past the average stake length (according to the Staker app, currently about 5.7 years) Then you start earning serious cash.
Yeh I’ve only just learnt that and a lot of other things recently. Whales only is responsible for my crazy staking every week atm lol he’s helped me understand a lot. And with pulsechain coming as well I want those stakes on there
