get fpi?
the more people that move funds the more the remaining people will earn so many will stay just for that.
I’m doubtful. I think the hype around fpi airdrop will far outweigh the benefits of an improved yield, to a point.
some people like to earn an expected amount rather then risk it for an unknown airdrop value. lets say your in a pool and you normally earn 50 FXS a week , if 90% of people leave your now earning 500 FXS in a week... would you get more of the airdrop by moving your funds or by spending the extra 450 FXS you earned on FPI ?
no idea what your talking about , sorry
I agree with this example, but even 25-30% of people exiting could cause some serious imbalance in certain pools and possibly with the fxs reactor; and also the FPI airdrop could be viewed as a short term thing (i..e need to be in snapshot and then return), so it's not like the people who stay in those pools will continue getting that higher yield for more than a tiny window. I get your point though.
it takes over two weeks to get out and back in the toke pool. and its unlikely a pool will be unbalanced as they will still be 50/50 but with less value in them.
It takes 2 weeks? Withdrawals are available after 1 cycle. So 24-48hrs
yeah .. so how you gonna get the money back in ?
Just deposit back in once you get airdrop? I assume you could do all this in 9-10 days
yeah, this is my thinking as well. and it sort of creates unnecessary shuffling of assets; too bad tFXS isn't available yet!
