I really love the FRAX community. But this has got to be the 50th time you post this link, which to put it mildly is about 48 more than the usual. You are suggesting a massive, fundamental, change to FRAX, which seems to be dividing the community. Before I conclude on my own I am curious. I have never seen you in the TG before the UST crash, and no-one has ever suggested to move to 100% CR, so I get a bad vibe from your extreme activity in the group as it makes me suspicious. Let this be my invitation for more transparency about you.
I think it's okay to be enthusiastic, especially if you feel you found something neat. There are a lot of "new" people in the chat lately...totally expected given what happened in the ecosystem. It's def the case that many people were suggesting 100% CR, even @samkazemian was, so this should not cause pause. Follow your curiosity and let's judge the ideas on their merits and not appeal to authority/familiarity. I know you are doing that anyway...mostly nodding in agreement. Interesting times and we should def wait for clarity and consensus.
This proposal is utter bullshit
Well, that is bcs I had the idea during the crash. I think the idea is good so I wanted to express it to the community, I think the engagement is fairly low on that proposal (which I need to edit to make a discussion) so when I see the opportunity to invite somebody to check it out I do so bcs I think it's in the interest of making things better and, lastly I'm trying to explain it as much as I can bcs I think it's fairly complicated and people might have a hard time. Btw the CR wouldn't need to be moved to 100% in what I proposed. The protocol would always be 100% solvent which is another thing all together. My model is about keeping all that FRAX has built up until now intact and maintain the fractional reserve model + argument it and balance it out with the lending side to make it more resilient.
Thanks, I did see that. It's Sam's style. I love it. He voices a proposal as a thought, and if it gets shut down, he hasn't lost any credibility 😀. Fantastic way to activate the community.
