Did anyone sell post announcement and now is dealing with

their exchange freezing their assets and preventing them from cashing out their transaction? My exchange (CoinSpot) is demanding I either reverse the ALBT transaction or provide them with the airdrop, but I am not even sure if I am eligible ?
I was not aware and I sold 17 minutes after the announcement. Now CoinSpot won’t even allow me to purchase or sell assets yet along withdraw till they either reverse the transaction or provide the airdrops

That is one shady ass exchange. Kucoin didn’t block any withdrawals/deposits/assets. Why did coin spot block?

Don’t fret yet my friend, hopefully the team will sort this out. Once we get the full airdrop plans. Sure the team will airdrop accordingly to be fair to all 👍🏻

I hope so man. My bag was very big in this project and so was the gains I made when I sold. And I am not exiting I was trying to buyback I still believe in this project. I’ve seen weaker project getting hacked and they still recovered. Brandon - I hope we are included, I for instant sold only 17 minutes after and I did it for risk management not because I lost faith in the project. I was planning to buy back in even if I lose tokens in the process. People like us shouldn’t be punished, if it was hours later then I understand because the announcements would have been sitting there for a while and people should have read it.

Yea same. I sold because the team said there was a snapshot pre hack. I’ve held for YEARS and never sold a single coin before this incident. If I’m penalized I will not be buying more.

You were "just risk managing"? You sold. You can buy back in once trading resumes. That's how trading works.

So you knowingly sold ALBT to someone else knowing that it was worthless while expecting to also get airdropped when you were no longer a holder.

I have no idea the intentions of a buyer. If they want to risk purchasing a defunct token, that’s their prerogative

Do people that didn't panic buy get tokens as well?

That buyer probably wouldn't have bought if they knew what you knew. You don't get to sell worthless tokens and then get airdropped legit ones that's not how this works.

Everyone gets their balance on the time and date of the snapshot. Why do you keep asking this? It’s not a snapshot if what takes place afterwards matters

I will buy back if I don’t get penalized. If not, I won’t deal with this project again. I only sold because I thought it was ok, I didn’t see the announcement. My exchange is freezing my account so I can’t even use the non air drop money which I obtained by selling after the announcement.

Not my problem that I read a Twitter post and they didn’t. If the team wants to cancel and issue tokens whenever they feel like it, they can register as a security and program the smart contract to include the ‘freeze function’ to protect buyers and sellers. I’m playing by the same rules as everyone else: there’s a snapshot pre-hack, and what happens after the snapshot is irrelevant. Or else it’s not a snapshot, is it?
