insanely long message that needs to be confirmed appears. I was clicking through it for 10 minutes and still didn’t get to the end. It says ‘double click’ to skip the message, but if I do that then my Ledger just freezes. Any suggestions on how to solve this?

If youv'e got Brave as your browser, it could be that you need to set "Shields Down"; I haven't read anyone complaining about a very long message as a result of this, but it has impacted Brave users. It's possible that there might be some other extension interfering, but I don't think that's likely; that shouldn't result in you having a really long message to confirm in your Ledger device itself. Just of course make sure that you're using https://www.fundrs.app (with the "www") as your starting point for getting to the "Get Verified" button. I figure you're doing this, but just want to cover all bases. : )
Make sure that you're only completing the mandatory personal details & contact info fields. If you are filling in everything, that's likely the cause of the issue you're having.
So you mean don’t upload Proof of Residence doc? I think that’s where all the data is
I'm quoting the guide: "If completing verification using a Hardwallet like the Ledger or Trezor, only complete the Mandatory Personal Details and Contact Information fields." Anything else NexeraID needs, it will prompt you for. : )
