i know, im checking a few hours now, it goes from 290 to 730 bucks, but i know for sure that if you trim the settings its beneficial, i knew them before, but i lost them

Yes. You can do that. Just remember that if you do, then you can't do any other transactions in that wallet until that one executes. When your submitting the transaction, click where it says Market (above the gas quote). Then select Advanced. Then type in your target gwei in the box for Max Base Fee.

Gwei is constantly fluctuating. You have to monitor to see when it's low. Usually best times are the weekends or during the week while US is asleep.
