using your local currency (like USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
Just Forget about: Binance, Coinbase, FTX, Gemini, Kraken, KuCoin, Huobi, Gate_io, Bitfinex, Crypto_com, Bitstamp, Gemini, and all the rest.... 👎🏼 🚫 🙅♂️
This method is.....
Totally Anonymous. Decentralized. 👍🏼
No Account Needed. Non-Custodial.
Cannot be banned by any government.
(1) Install the anonymous Decentralized Exchange app called Bisq on your pc or mac (It must be installed on a desktop or laptop --- not on a phone or tablet). Download it at this website: Bisq.network
(2) Install it and follow the directions. Make sure you read and follow the instructions carefully to make a backup copy of your Bisq, create a safe secure long unique password that you won't forget, and record the key words too. Remember your money will be held inside this app for the duration of your transactions. If you screw up and don't back it up, or forget your password.... NOBODY can help you get your money back. Again: Who can help you if you forget your passwords or lose your pc or laptop or backup? Nobody.
(Once you're all finished buying or selling, you should move your Bitcoin to your Edge.app Wallet for safekeeping and storing them.)
(3) At this point you can view other users' offers to buy or sell BTC. Note the amounts they offer. Sometimes the offer is for a range of amounts.... where you can select any amount within that range. Also pay close attention to the "Payment Method". That is the method of how the fiat currency (i.e. USD, EUR, GBP, etc) will be transferred from the buyer to the seller of the BTC. Also note the % Premium. That is the seller's asking price above the market value. For example, if it says 7% that means the seller wants the Market Price + 7%. If it says 0% that means the seller is willing to sell it at exactly the current Market Price. The "Market Price" is calculated automatically by the Bisq software and updates every one minute.
(4) To Take an offer you see, you will need to have a little bit of BTC (Bitcoin) to start with. This is because every transaction on Bisq requires both the Seller and the Buyer to put up a Security Deposit before making or taking an offer. This prevents bad actors from playing games, spamming the exchange, and acts as another deterrent for bad guys to try to cheat people --- because they will lose their deposit if they try to. When making or taking an offer, if you don't have enough BTC in your Bisq yet, it will tell you how much you need to deposit. It will display a QR code which you can scan to Send the BTC from your Edge.app Wallet to your Bisq. Don't worry. Your security deposit will be returned immediately upon completion of the buy/sell transaction.
(5) If you get comfortable with Taking offers.... You might want to try Making offers. When you Make an offer, you get to set all the terms: the % premium, the payment method, the amount (or range of amounts) to buy or sell, even the % of the security deposit both parties must put in (15% - 50%, up to you), everything... all the terms are up to you. Also, as another benefit, the one who Makes the offer pays lower trade fees than the one who Takes the offer. (However, the trade fees are already super low anyway. And trade fees are cut to half of that! 😳 ....if you agree to pay in Bisq's own currency, called BSQ, instead of BTC.)
Note: Many other cryptocurrencies, (like Zcash ZEC), can also be purchased or sold on Bisq. However, they can only be purchased using BTC.... because Bitcoin is the main currency of Bisq.
