Hi Everyone, when I claim reward in BUSD Earn it

also wipe out my Kava stake reward on Cosmos Ledger. Is this right or a bug?

For those who don’t know. Purchasing USDX with BUSD will result in a capital loss - when USDX further depegs. Achieving USDX stability would require ongoing adjustments to various parameters in response to changing market conditions. Kava team has zero transparency and so far has not prioritized USDX stability. Selling USDX and buying back when it further de-pegs will provide a much greater ROI then supplying to Lend. ☝️

Maybe USdx go up again. That's the thing nobody knows what will happen with that wild animal. If you believe that USdx will go up buy if don't sell. Today was by 0.93$

How long was it at .93? I reckon - just long enough for sellers to perpetually mint more with BUSD CDP’s at 0% interest. And continue selling freshly minted USDX until price returned to the descending trend line.

Not too long. But sometimes USDx takes the other way. And if go up those buds minter-seller lose their movement because USDx is now expensive and they need to pay back all of it to take out their busd. But you're right usdx is in downtrend I hope it will go up again.

I would change "will result" by "may result". In fact, usdx has always returned close to the peg, so it will most likely do the same now as it is a core product of Kava. Also, i clearly would not recommend selling usdx at these prices, it is a big risk with little possible profit and probability of success. Buy now will provide more apy on Lend and capital gains when repeg.

USDX being a core product of Kava does not inspire confidence 😂 It has only really returned to peg once in its history. After they moved all the minting rewards to supplying USDX. It never fully recovered from UST fiasco and does not show any signs of recovering from this current down trend. But you are right, I say it “will result in capital loss” when this is not a foregone conclusion. USDX buyers are much appreciated by Kava team 👏

Beyond the fact that some governance issues are not well managed, Kava team has developed good products and has maintained a high standard in terms of security. I do believe in the work they are doing. And usdx is soon going to be used by several EVM protocols, Space (cosmostation protocol) is going to be one. I think usdx is in its infancy and buying at these prices is a good opportunity (yes i put my money where my mouth is 😅)

Here's how the BUSD Earn model works - Users supply BUSD to the BUSD earn module, BUSD is supplied to Kava Mint, and a CDP is created to mint USDX. And then, USDX gets supplied to Kava Lend to earn rewards.
