So, I'm very new to bch. I've been into BTC

for a few years. I get it. I get that bch is cheaper to use. But what is going to get the masses to move away from BTC? Will we get there? Will bch be a top recognised crypto in the future?

BTC doesn't have the throughput for many people. Many of todays hodlers won't be able to move their coins in the future. BTCs adoption is currently done via cusodial LN banks. They could succeed, but then we win nothing. The banks win again. BCH is 100% self custodial with all pros and cons. It will win if people understand and value control over their money.

Every new user in BTC kicks out an existing one. The alternative for that abandoned user should be BCH.

Depends what you mean by “crypto”. If you’re talking about crypto gambling then difficult to be recognised as such because it’s designed to be used as digital cash (see whitepaper). If you’re talking about cryptocurrency then name another coin or a list of coins that can be used. As currency. For the masses. Privately encrypted only at the fingertips of the masses. In the latter case is suspect bch is already recognised as top dog.
