That's a shame. Like the bulk of the population, I don't really care how the artists get paid, but would like the convenience of monthly subscription.

I think that will be definitely offered in nearby future as well. For me , I dont listen whole day to music. For price of standard Spotify I can listen 20 hours a month to tune fm. Thats more than enough for me. And I listen mostly to a playlist. With tune, the songs become free if you have listen it 10 times. Really awesome. And I even earn JAM by listening to promoted songs by artists. Big advantage tune is that all songs are standard in lossless audio. Great sound quality .

I'm sure it's doable and they can match other platforms when it comes to subscription fees. Most people would rather pay slightly more for a subscription. No doubt this can be offered. Currently, I like my Tidal subscription, knowing that I have access to pretty much every song out there for small set fee. Most people like to stick with a format they know. When will artists be onboarded onto the platform? Its not something that is difficult to do these days as contracts aren't what they were.
