working exactly, and what are the steps you are taking, and what error messages come or what happens.

"Cannot extract it" and "taking me in circles" is not much information to be able to effectively help.

And what operating system?
Kaks (I WONT DM YOU FIRST), [4/23/24 7:09 PM]
No need to extract the .deb file

it won't open though?
Kaks (I WONT DM YOU FIRST), [4/23/24 7:11 PM]
Open terminal where you have the .deb file and type
sudo dpkg -i linux-deb-piratewallet-lite-v1.0.10.deb
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:11 PM]
You would have to open the .deb file with GDebi application. Or install it from Terminal using sudo dpkg -i file.deb

Yeah, for example as Kaks just showed above.

You are currently in the wrong folder in Terminal. You need to get to Downloads folder first.
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:13 PM]
try:
cd Downloads
Ezza Kezza, [4/23/24 7:13 PM]
thanks
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:13 PM]
and after that if that succeeds well, run the other command again.
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:14 PM]
and yes, if you do cd Downloads the word Downloads must start with the capital letter.
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:14 PM]
Because there is case sensitivity with folder names in GNU/Linux
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:15 PM]
Nice! All done.
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:15 PM]
Installed :)
Ⓐrtto, [4/23/24 7:15 PM]
