Question is how would anyone know if the team allocated the majority of supply for themselves?

It's not a dumb question. The coinbase tx is the transaction where newly minted coins are sent to the address of the miner that completed the block. On Pirate, the coinbase tx's are transparent. This way anyone can audit the chain to see the right amount of coins are in circulation, and that they came from mining. Pirates code has been audited by auditing firms, as well as individuals who have looked through the open source code themselves. They have confirmed Pirates code is doing what we claim it does. So audits have shown there wasn't any coins created before the first block, and todays supply can be confirmed by anyone wanting to take the time to go through the coinbase tx's, and do the math adding them up. If you have the ability, you can audit the code yourself. If you have the time, you can audit the supply yourself with the block explorer.

Still being the most private way to transact digitally. More merchant adoption, and more upgrades to our chain, and ecosystem making privacy and security as simple as possible. If you're asking about a price prediction, then i have no clue. That would just be speculation.

Pirate is a fair launched coin, like Bitcoin was. There are very few projects launched in this way without an ICO, pre-mine, dev tex, or foundation. The pirate team had no ability to allocate coins to anyone. The only way to get pirate from day 1 was to mine it, or buy it from someone who mined it. There was no pre mine with coins to allocate to anyone. Our team are volunteers who do not get paid for their work. Our funds come from donations. Pirates team does not have control over the project. Anyone can start their own development team, and contribute to Pirates code, just like bitcoin.
