want to have a hw wallet for monero and pirate chain and other nonprivate coins.

The third-party Pirate Hardware Wallet is currently the only hardware wallet that exists that can handle zk-SNARK transactions. Hi, there's current development work to use the Trezor T software on the wallet for all 'legacy coins' plus Pirate, Monero & Dero for your privacy needs. This requires a redesign of the LCD interface + adding touch support. The USB interface is changed from serial to HID&webusb to match Trezor. We're looking at adding a secure element, which imo isn't required. We'll store the key partially in the secure element, that way an attacker will need to crack 2 h/w devices to access your seed. The wallet will be on par and exceed the new Trezor Safe 5.
