I know I'm probably biased, but I would like to suggest we stop giving people the advice to install closed source wallets. (bcom and zapit in your list). If you think the alternatives are not good enough, please help us by stating what needs to be there to stop advertising closed source wallets.

Cashconnect/walletconnect + cashtokens are the main feature. Only other capable wallet is Paytaca which in my experience doesn't seem to work as well with WC.

I loved the "local.bitcoin.com" website, and it was not integrated in the wallet. But conflict resolution and scammer avoidance probably was the cost that killed it.

I also loved it. Apparently 3rd party Man-In-The-Middle scams kill such websites over time, because sellers quit as they are the target of the attacks. But I already have the solution to that, I should write an RFC Soon™ Maybe this time we will succeed @joemar_taganna

How does the attack work?

1. The Honest Seller Bob makes an ad where he sells 1BCH 2. The Scammer Charlie makes an ad on craiglist, amazon, ebay or whatever service that he will sell an IPhone (the item does not exist) on discount for 1BCH's value in USD 3. The scammer receives an offer of purhase from a Honest item buyer Alice. 4. The scammer Charlie responds to Bob's offer of sale of BCH, Bob gives him an account money to wire transfer the USD to 5. Scammer Charlie then gives that account number to Honest buyer Alice, Alice then transfers the USD to Bob's account unknowingly. 6. Seeing the money arriving to his account, Seller Bob unlocks the BCH and the BCH is transfered to the Scammer. 7. The scammer disappears from spacetime continuum 8. Honest buyer Alice never receives an IPhone and sues Honest BCH seller bob because police tracks down his ID by the account number. 9. After having 100 such scam, Honest BCH seller Bob goes bankrupt because of all the lawsuits stops advertising on Zapit/Paytaca P2P Market

You need to read several posts unfortunately because there is not a nice summary, but you should get it. Basically the scammer scams 2 victims at once: 1: BCH seller 2: Amazon/Ebay/Craiglist item buyer Exchange is not the target of the attack. BCH sellers are.

my recommendation is to use a phone less controlled. It's your private property and Apple still has full ability to do things like limit what software you run on it. my experience with exodus wallet isn't bad, the process of paying to a QR is not very smooth, though..

Bitcoin.com for simple features but very easy to use interface. Paytaca and Zapit both have excellent mobile wallets as well — they have tools built in to utilize certain DeFi tools as well such as BCH Bull and CashTokens Selene wallet is a very lightweight and simple wallet if you want BCH-only, no frills experience
