With Vet you can generate Vtho which is used for transactions, the more Vet you hold, the more you generate. This can be good for people who wanna create passive income in the future and on the other side it's good for big companies who wanna secure their desired usage of transactions without having to buy the vtho itself cause the generation is guaranteed. Also Vet can be seen as an asset just like stocks, which rise in value the more use cases and companies adopt Vechain. TLDR: Vechain is the cow, Vtho is the milk
