not complaining just curious about the technicals, are you able to explain why there are those approval transactions before the actual transfer one? is it the equivalent to companies sending a low cost test transaction to you credit card when you connect it to their business?

I located the transaction in the boba block explorer and it looks successful. But in my metamask it still says pending and on the ui it shows 0 staked.

No it's because you're sending the assets to a smart contract, you need to approve the smart contract to be able to move those assets on your behalf before you can actually send them.

Up to you. At least you're already on L2 so the gas is not TOO bad. Although if the tx failed it shouldn't have even taken the gas?

Well, finally got it working. I was using old Trezor firmware to connect to mm and I think that was causing problems. I updated my firmware and it still wouldn’t work. Then I restarted my computer, cleared my cache and all is good now and I’m staked very quickly w no problems. In any event, thanks for your help!

Kinda weird that the old firmware gave me no problems bridging to L2, but I got hung up on the staking part. Oh well.
