I understand that polymath idea is to issue ERC1400 tokens

for various types of real world assets and manage them on its own blockchain called Polymesh, what Ive been looking for is how those STOs and the blockchain itself is going to behave towards stable assets (as stable as USD)?
Is ERC1400 peggable to real world assets’ prices let’s say through APIs?
Does Polymesh allow me to issue timed STOs so I can use them as timed debts with fixed or various yield?

Not sure, most of what I know I've learnt from playing around on testnet and reading through Github. There is some information in https://developers.polymesh.live/ which is a good start but it does not list every single function and feature available onchain and explain them. I'm sure after mainnet launch there will be time for developers to improve documentation to elaborate further on features available as they start to release more content to promote the chains capabilities.
