it is listed as a coin, why ?
Because PHA is a native coin by defualt. The ERC20 token is just the pre-launch represent of the native token
What is your defination of coin or token?
coin has its own blockchain technology, token does not
Maybe it will help https://www.google.com/amp/s/blog.liquid.com/coin-vs-token%3fhs_amp=true
is there a list of coins and tokens ?
Yes but Just an example
ok can you give me a link with coin category and token category ?
On this article😊
I'd say this defination is valid, but not very useful. Afterall, the word 'tokenomics' may refer to both coins and tokens. I guess you are trying to distinguish crypto projects with real decency from those scam projects that anyone can create with few lines of code with a smart contract. Technically, PHA is a coin, according to your defination. Because it has its own chain, not based on a contract of other chain. And it does have great tech on privacy computing. What i'm saying is that a coin with its own chain doesn't necessarily be a decent crypto project, while a token running in a contract can still be great project.
Yeah, sure. There are plenty of smart contract based token projects with great technology. But just broadly speaking, coins usually refer to cryptocurrencies with their own blockchain while token are mostly ERC20 smart contracts
