The Apex docs state that the bots have "minimum fee

of $0.10" Yet the default bot fee value when placing an order is $0.01 and with $0.01 the order is shown as being there. Is the documentation correct and the default wrong? What would be a reasonable bot fee if you wanted to assure your order would be taken care of?

According to Apex team, they will update the docs. The minimum fee is $0.01. And that fee is sufficient for orders to be executed at the moment

I asked the apex.win devs about this. We'll see what they say. Afaik the default bot fee is adequate in almost all cases. Where it would have issues is if gas prices spike on xDai, which happens sometimes. So if you're settting up a long term limit order that you only expect to trigger in a big more, like a sudden crash, you might want to use a higher bot fee to ensure the bot has enough $$ to pay the fee.
