I don't know if value accrual was the focus of this prop. It's more about improving IBC experience and make it more effective. https://mapofzones.com/?period=24&testnet=false&tableOrderBy=totalIbcTxs&tableOrderSort=desc You can see chains connecting each other directly. With prop 56 you just need to be connect to the Hub and gain access to all chains
