93% of accounts have voted 'yes' as well. If the proposal still faces failure, ATOM will be in a legitimacy crisis. How far can ATOM go?
Please, this is an assumption, and not helping. there is no crisis, it's a proposal, and governance will make the decision.
The opinions of the majority, the opinions of the majority of nodes, are being overruled by a minority. Isn't this a crisis? This is a legitimacy crisis because it represents governance of ATOM that is neither decentralized nor democratic
Cosmos hub governance had many proposals last 4 years and Atom 2.0 ( new proposed whitepaper and ideas) has not been approved by governance. So, I do not consider any proposals as a crisis.
Perhaps this is the reason why ATOM's market performance is so poor.
There is still time to vote
There is still plenty of time to vote. And in general, Let's avoid making assumptions.
But yeah if this proposion wont pass it would mean atom is very centralised
You're right. Everyone should go and vote. The more people who vote, even if we don't win, it will highlight how ridiculous their victory is
A proposal cant make a decentralized blockchain more decentralized or centralized.
It's nice to see so many people voting on a proposal. Do you know what is the biggest address turnout ever on a proposal? 🤓
Prop69 :) for airdrop :) i think. but prop848 might take the first place.
Decentralization is not just a verbal claim; it is manifested in governance. A blockchain may claim to be decentralized, but we can always verify it.
maybe but not by just A Proposal.
yeah true over 90k ppl voted on 69. Hope we pass that number. It's just mind-blowing to see the scale of governance in Cosmos, from what I've seen, no other chain/dApp comes even close
Yes! %100 and others(non-Cosmos blockchains) are yet to have governance proposals and I am curious how will be for their community to participate in governance decisions.
