I'M kinda overthinking but: Suppose SEC regulate stablecoins as securities and

the FED stablecoins printers as banks, then sec delist USDT from US exchanges for those reasons.

There is chance link proof of reserves become standard, and then we have a stablecoin summer in 2022, right?

Did they? I saw the CBDC release. Is that who the IEF is listed on that report? IIRC, the Link proposal for cbdcs is just one of competing solutions. Ripple and Avalanche (i think) have another proposal for cbdcs.
