Optimal compound is once a day, 365 times per year. Once a week means 52 times per year. You will get less than the advertised APY and please take note that the APR/APY itself is not constant

It depends on the mdex you stake. The restaking period changes. It can be once a day if you have a lot of mdex but otherwise the cost of restaking can be higher that the mdex you get for the restaked amount

APR= Number of MDX rewards of the day / Total weight of MDX in the lock-up pool *365*100% Number of MDX rewards of the day = Number of MDX rewards of the day / MDX repurchase price APY=(1+APR*weight coefficient/365/100)^365*100%-100%
