bridges, could you expand on this? are you saying chainlink as a bridge can act as a true layer 2 does with ethereum?
Chainlink is an abstraction layer, CCIP can bridge any chain on L1 or L2 or a sidechain etc. The goal is abstraction and the bridge security. Like I said above, an aspect of chainlinks security still involves leveraging the chains trust efficiency so its not like it replaces the security completely. But in terms of the end state of what this all looks like, the LINK token is going to be involved in the security of the entire crypto ecosystem. You're going to have situations where a parent hybrid contract is off executing sub-contracts over multiple chains for whatever usecase and chainlink will abstract the complexity of that away while securing all of those sub-contracts over any chain.
thanks for the last paragraph especially, it really "bridged the gap" , pun intended
Can you define trust efficiency? I'm assuming you mean an L1's ability to securely maintain its immutable ledger of transactions in a trustless manner.
Yeah it is trust efficient because it is completely trustless
Sir, someone will be reaching out for a paternity test after that dad joke.
well in theory the L1s are anyway lol
But Drake! Isn't this just techno babble? I'm getting qnt vibes
