time to revisit this Reddit comment about Nano's lack of smart contracts. Nano can't & won't solve every usecase, but it does one thing really well. Simplicity is a strength, not a weakness 🙌

nano is not a utility, it is digital money. In the same way that nano has shown that mining is not necessary for decentralized epayment, fortunately smart contracts are not necessary either. nano doesn't need heavy backpacks to do its job and do it better than the rest of the competition
Did you go through this thread? A lot of FUD... Or it could be all true.... Go through it... There's strong criticism of nano's consensus mechanism.
yes, I read it.. probably most of them FUD... if what he says is really true, we would have already seen the serious consequences and the issues of it: And to date there have been none. nano's consensus mechanism is improving rigth now and as Colin said more people is going to be involved on it...
If nano digital money, why not use utxo, the standar for digital money??
