Our Senior Software Engineer, Carlo, explained it very nicely: "It's perfectly possible to have Noether running on other chains, if people want to build Noether based DApps on other chains. But moving to other chains just because the fee is lower is not a reason, there has to be demand (not only from stakers, but also from users and DApp developers, since the ecosystem must reach a balance). If we were to launch a Noether network on Polygon or BSC, for example, the target ROI for node runner could be about the same as it is now for Ethereum. I.e. a 30% ROI, so the block reward would be much lower as the fees are much lower. As always, we are constantly working on improving our experience on the Ethereum chain, that is why we invested so much time in the delegation system."
I mean just because block rewards are higher... People who actually use it prefer lower fees over higher fees. That's why other chains are thriving
