quantum computing?

If I remember Leemon correctly, the basic answer is that the cryptographic hash standard Hedera uses, SHA 256, is considered relatively quantum safe by most cryptographers. Since quantum computing isn't here yet we don't really know for sure. Leemon mentioned that the hashing algorithm can be upgraded to any number of existing hashing algorithms if it seems quantum computing would break SHA 256 encryption. The reason Hedera doesn't use more secure encryption today is because SHA 256 is already super high grade, i.e. used by NSA, military, CIA etc. Check this out below: Answer to Which quantum algorithm can break SHA-256? by Jeff Berkowitz https://www.quora.com/Which-quantum-algorithm-can-break-SHA-256/answer/Jeff-Berkowitz-1?ch=15&oid=105820795&share=08b05440&srid=vpfWk&target_type=answer
