Has anyone else's miners just been useless for the last

month? I have 6 miners across Europe and 3 of them have made 0! Any ideas?

Check explorer.helium.com, input your miner name and check how many miners in your hex and general area. One or two days per month my miner goes to zero earnings, then picks back up again. In 9 months I’ve earned 230HNT. Currently, though, about 10HNT/month. My hex has 4 miners and my area now has MANY miners.

Height is king with regard to radio transmitting and receiving. Miners are radios. They also need a clear line of site. Third is to have a high power, gain, antenna. Most miners come with a 1.2dbI antenna. Perfect for sitting in a window. If your miner is in a window, be sure to remove the bug screen. It reduces the signal. I installed a 5.8 dbI antenna, in the window where the 1.2dbI antenna was. There was very little improvement. I took the same antenna, moved it to the highest point of my house, connected 15M of cable and increased mining almost immediately. There are several YouTube videos describing how to select an antenna.

Agreed! One of my miners is at 120m outside overlooking canary wharf in London... Did zero last month 😂

Amito, what dos your miner look like in explorer.helium? Is it communicating to any miner? What antenna are you using? Are you using WiFi or Ethernet conx?

Haha they have placed some in 100m high windmills over here, these things make 60HNT+ a month

Close to me is a windpark and 2 weeks ago like 50 pisces hotspots popped up on the same day. They are not synced yet but when these start running they gonna make an hell of radius. Smart energy companies i guess
