how does the UI work for selling a game? you have like a dropdown menu? "allow to sell game after: immediately; 1 month; 3 months; 6 months; 12 months"? Is there a limit the developer has to accept in order to be able to publish on Ultra? Because otherwise it would be completely pointless to own an NFT if publisher can arbitrarily forbid to resell it. I'd say something like 18 months is the limit.
I think we need to think it a bit more widely. we have several business use case I guess Ultra's team already covered. Let's imagine the new Assassin's creed will be launch on Ultra. First question would be: are the available NFT's limited? (example: can I buy 100 times the game on my wallet as NFT? I should be able right?) And then on a winter sale, the game price goes 50% off and I come and buy 1000 copies of Assasin's creed and then when the price goes back up to it's original price I start selling then 25% off the original price. Boom, profit. So therefore, I think that there must be a strict regulation of *if* *some* of the games will be available of not as NFT, and *how* all the thing it may really work.
and then, if a publisher releases limited number NFT game copies, I bet you will find the first person/bot coming and buying all of them and reselling them later..
so I am pretty sure they thought these processes way beyond my examples and they managed to find reliable solution for the business owners..
Yes, resellable is a parameter in the token factory that a developer can choose to enable or disable. You can also set an unlock period so that the initial sales come only from first-hand sales and in time they can be from the secondary market.
Or you can move it outside Ultra mainnet and sell it as ERC721 on other chains.
No, this is not true, at least for now
That is an interesting point you bring up
Hello, when the first play to earn on ultra in the plan?
We'll start talking about this as soon as we can. Hush hush until then.
The token factory can be set up to allow a maximum number of purchases per account. E.g. one game purchase per account. That extends to NFT marketplace. The team is definitely thinking about bot accounts and im sure they will come up with ways to limit them gaming the various systems (beyond the phone number email requirements to set up accounts)
speaking about bots - I can only imagine that there are also measures being taken against bot NFT farming , other farming into the games right? the question is a bit abstract because I don't really know all the dangers that might be there - but I just hope that the NFT gaming will not be affected by bots, that's all :)
