Lets say I am using monero to pay and the

merchant gives me a payment window. So he knows when I payed and that it was from an account registered on this website . But if he looks on chain he sees that there are 10 other possible people that could have paid with me included. Now I use this merchant and pay like 1000 times and he knows the payment window and address every time. Can he then see some patterns in these 10 possibilities for example that there was always one account involved and all other changed. So can he then find out my account public key?

All they can do in an extreme case it’s a sign more accurate probability but it has a limit. Nevertheless those tipe of situations will be more difficult in the future with the gradually increase of ring
